We traveled for 6 weeks from Broome to Perth. It was a wonderful trip. The vehicle only had 14,000 kms to start with. No mechanical problems. The roof tent was spacious and easy to unfold every evening. the mattress was comfortable and there was everything you needed for the kitchen. We had very clear explanations at the start of the trip. In Perth we were ordered a taxi. We highly recommend this agency. The people are very friendly and know their vehicles perfectly.

We had a fantastic 3 weeks experience from Perth to Broome . The Cab / rooftent principle is great as it is bigger than just a rooftent on top of a 4WD. I strongly recommend Broome & Beyond for their clear services and pricing.
Very good campervan hire in three locations: Darwin, Broome and Perth. Vehicle was in good condition and ideal for our trip along the Gibb River Road and through the national parks of Western Australia. We drove and camped from Darwin to Broome in blistering 39 degree September heat. What an exhilirating awe inspiring experience - the sheer beauty of Nitmiluk, the dazzling gold honeycomb of Purnululu, and the majesty of the gorges and swimming holes along the Gibb. Thanks to Broome and Beyond the 4 wd Hilux Trayon campers worked very well, the cars handled the rugged terrain easily and sleeping under the stars was a treat. Being able to sit inside the camper, have a cup of tea and read our books after a big day of walking or driving was a real bonus. B and B were very responsive and helpful on the odd occasion we needed them. Thoroughly recommended

We picked up our Hilux in Broome and drove the Gibb River Road, across to Katherine and then onto Darwin. Tracey and Brendan made the whole experience super easy and were so great to communicate with - from the initial booking, to numerous emails prior to departure, talking us through the camper at pickup and then prompt replies to questions/queries along the way. Nothing was a hassle. Easy set up and pack away, comfortable bed and enough room and storage for all of our food and clothing. Highly recommend Broome & Beyond and wouldn't hesitate to use them again for another trip.
What an adventure. It was all made easy by the staff at Broome and Beyond. An excellent in in-depth brief at the beginning of the hire and they had no issues extending our hire when we decided that we were enjoying the trip so much that we just had to add more days. Thanks also for taking us to the airport when no taxi was available. We feel that the staff went out of their way to make our trip extra enjoyable. Highly recommended.
The four of us started in Perth. We were well helped there. Drove the entire west coast to Darwin, including the Gibb and the Bungles in 5 weeks. Brandon was always quick to answer our questions. It was a great rooftop for a family of four. Although there is of course little storage space and the four of you cannot sit inside.
We had a great holiday in Kakadu/Litchfield with our Camper. Perfectly set up vehicles with everything you need. Super easy to set up and really comfortable. Vehicles are easy to drive which was great for us, as we weren't overly experienced with a 4WD.
We hired a Toyota Hilux D/C Trayon for 23 days to do the Gibb/Kimberley’s and found them to be good people to deal with and had no problems from start to finish and thanks to all the staff of Broome and Beyond Highly Recommended Cade & Susan Jenkins

Wow Wow Wow, My husband and I have just spent the last 4 weeks traveling from Perth to Broome. We had the most wonderful adventures and saw some pretty amazing sights that WA has on offer. We could not have done it so smoothly without the assistance of our little camper from Broome & Beyond. Tracey and Brendan went over and beyond to make our holiday an exceptional experience (right down to booking a taxi for us at the end of our trip). The vehicle was almost new and our Trayon was way roomier than what we expected, easy to put up and down and not too big to park. Thanks to the guys at Broome and Beyond for their informative demo of how the toyota 4WD Trayon system works, and their assistance in making it more 'short female' friendly. I spent 38 days travelling on the Gibb solo at 63 from Darwin to Broome. The trayon and vehicle were awesome, no punctures, breakdowns or anything else. As a first time 4WD driver I felt confident and they made sure they were contactable should i need assistance. I highly recommend hiring from Broome and Beyond. Broome and Beyond Camper Hire was a great experience. The trip from Broome to Darwin was fantastic, the car was perfect for the trip with averything you need to provide confort in this difficult environment. The team provides a great service not only on selling but on everything you need pre, post and during the trip.
The 4 door Hi-Lux camper we hired was almost new and in excellent condition. It performed faultlessly as we travelled the Gibb River Road and to Purnululu. It ate up the rocky creek crossings and steep climbs. Excellent preparatory briefing and well equipped. Our only suggestion is that a detailed list of kitchen and other equipment included could be on the website for potential hirers. The one query we had on the road was promptly answered by Brendan. Highly recommend Broome and Beyond for good vehicles, support and quality.
We were able to go and look at the campers at Canning Vale, before making our decision. We found the team here in Perth and in Broome friendly, very approachable and helpful. We booked the camper and picked it up in Broome. It worked well for our needs, we did the Gibb River Road. No issues with anything, all worked well. We would highly recommend Broome and Beyond for any camping trip.
We hired a Toyota Hilux with a rooftop tent from Broome & Beyond for 2 months and drove from Perth to Darwin including the Gibb Road and The Bungle Bungles. If we could, we would give more stars. We have never been so satisfied with a rental company: - Super fast service and feedback on questions at any time - Very quick help and support when we had a flat tyre. The bill was paid directly by Broome & Beyond, thanks to the insurance we chose - Very new and reliable vehicle with only around 8'000 km when we took it over - Everything was super clean when we picked it up, the vehicle was like new and everything was explained in detail. For example, headlamps were also included, super cooking utensils, sharp knives, large water tank, etc. The bed was also comfortable. - Any questions were also clarified in advance. - The vehicle is perfectly equipped for difficult 4x4 routes in the outback. - Thanks to the large 100-litre diesel tank, we were able to drive long distances without any problems. We would rent a vehicle here again at any time. Thank you for this amazing adventure!!

We rented the Dual Cab 4x4 camper from Broome & Beyond for our trip from Perth to Darwin. All the employees we met were very nice and helpful and all of our questions were solved immediately, even when we were on the move. The car drives excellently and can be set up quickly. As compact as the structure is when driving, it is just as spacious when it is set up, so that you can cook and eat well both inside and outside. We can highly recommend the company.

Recently finished up our two week trip through the Kimberley’s on the Gibb and the great northern highway. Brandon and he’s team were so helpful from the start to finish. We hired a Hilux 4x4 with a tray on the Ute was given to us in great condition and super clear and we didn’t have a problem the whole trip it was easy to set up and pack down and was also very comfortable. The Ute comes with absolutely everything provided for camping making the trip super easy!! Couldn’t recommend Broome and beyond more, thank you guys !

Amazing 4WD car company The car is fitted out with everything you possibly can imagine, the staff are super friendly and helpful they give you a massive and amazing rundown of the car when picking up it’s amazing, I used them twice and would use this company again for sure. Just finished a 3 week road trip and wish it lasted longer comfortable beds, has literally everything you need, everything is super clean when pick up the car Just no word but the simply the best :)
After various comparisons, we decided on Broome & Beyond. The best choice! The customer is king and the vehicles are designed for 4x4 routes. Our Hilux was almost like new and took us to the most beautiful places in Western Australia.

We rent a Toyota Hilux with twin RTT from Broome & Beyond in December 2023. From the very beginning of the rental procedure Brendan and Tracey have been extremely friendly and helpful, giving us plenty of suggestions and advices. What an epic WA trip! Our family (2 adults and one child) hired a Trayon 4WD camper from Broome & Beyond, for 7 weeks. From the very start Brendan and Tracey were responsive and helpful. When we picked the camper up they gave us an extensive training session, including 4WDing advice and how to set up the camper (so good to have a rental that you can go 4WDing with!). The camper came with everything we needed - cutlery, pots+pans, bedding, emergency locator, a handheld CB radio, tyre deflator+pump, plus much more. The camper had a solar panel on the roof, combined with a dedicated battery, which powered the fridge, lights, and even USB charging points. We ordered a cassette toilet (extra) so we could be totally off-grid. Brendan and Tracey were responsive through Whatsapp, email, and SMS. When we had a minor mishap with damage to the camper Brendan organised a fix right away, in the town we were staying. Brendan is a legend, really knows his stuff! We couldn't be happier with the service and vehicle we had from Broome & Beyond - recommend 100% - wish we were still travelling around in it :)

We chose Broome & Beyond for our month-long trip through Western Australia because we had only heard positive reports about it. And we were not disappointed. Booking online was straightforward and communication was excellent. On site, Brendan introduced us to the vehicle. Everything had been thought of for a trip into the outback, right down to the satellite emergency call. The electric air pump was very useful, helping us to adjust the tyre pressure for the different terrain conditions. The radio for communicating with the road trains and construction sites was also very practical. The vehicle itself was in excellent condition. During the trip, it was confirmed time and again that the Trayon was the perfect choice. It was possible to drive to any location and spend the night wherever we wanted. Within a few minutes, the camper was ready for us to spend the night. The little extras such as lamps, stools etc. were also included. When shopping, it was practical to have the fridge within easy reach so that you could store your purchases directly in the supermarket car park. Despite the mobile phone navigation, the maps provided were worth their weight in gold, especially for trips to remote areas. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and will be using Broome & Beyond again on our next trip to Australia. We never had a breakdown or malfunction during the entire trip and the large fuel tank made us feel safe. By the way, the return of the vehicle was just as uncomplicated as the handover. Great guys to rent a vehicle from! Handover and drop off was uncomplicated and smooth. You get all the information you need! (Broome to Perth) We were on and off the road with the camper for almost 3 weeks and never had an issue. The communication with Brendan and Tracey via text message is easy and fast. Really kind and helpful guys! We even got some great recommendations for activities after our rental period was over! They go the extra mile so you can too!

We hired a 4WD Toyota Hi Lux with trayon camper from Perth to Broome 4/10/23 via the coast up to Exmouth, then in to Karijini, back the coast from Port Hedland north. Brendan and Tracey were wonderful as already stated in these reviews. The Hi Lux could have taken us anywhere. It did 110 km/hour on the sealed roads with no problems, about 11-14 L/100 km and felt equally at home on sand and corrugations around Karijini. In the camper the fridge and stove worked beautifully and the battery, powered by solar panels and the alternator, would have sustained us for 2-3 days easily. The little gas stove was a special treat, using very little of the cylinder of gas provided. It warmed us nicely when we cooked dinner inside in the cold coastal winds, and the rechargeable fan was wonderful at Cheela Plains where the temperature at sundown was 42 degrees. Bed was very comfortable and the canvas cooled down quickly after sunset with fantastic windows and screens. The shower with plastic skirts for privacy was a wonderful luxury and used very little of our water supply at the few places we stayed without water. This was our first trip camping or staying at caravan parks and we booked everywhere in advance as two of the three weeks were WA school holidays. In retrospect we didn't need to as this camper would have sustained us in roadside free camping areas for days at a time. The standard of cleanliness in every place we stayed was great, and the reception we got everywhere was wonderful. Fellow travellers were mostly our age (70s) although we met some lovely younger families as well. Brendan answered immediately when I forgot his instructions on how to tie down the fold out section whose gas struts were pushing it back up on our first night setting up in the dark in Geraldton. I forgot a lot of his detailed advice about setting up and packing camp so reinvented the wheel as we went: we should have taken a video when he was showing us the set up in Perth. I found that when folding up the top, using some cord to tie it down about 30 cm from fully closed, stopped the gas struts from opening it again, which would have allowed folds of canvas to obstruct closure. Instead it allowed me to go around tucking in the canvas top before clipping the top down. There are 24 hour credit card bowsers about 10 km south of Exmouth on the way back to the northern highway, about 15 c/L cheaper. Diesel cost us $2.25 at a BP workshop in Port Hedland up to > $2.70 at Sandfire Roadhouse. We made the mistake of topping up there for > $100 then finding the caravan park at Port Smith had a diesel bowser then costing $2.61. We did not think to ask for: coffee plunger, beach towels, tarp or other mat to spread on the ground around the stairs under our fold out bed section to stop importing the red dust at many of the campgrounds and caravan parks. I am sure Brendan would have provided something like this if we had thought to ask. Our can of Rid came in handy for Mr McGowan's welcoming committee for NSW people, of bush flies that otherwise crawled into ears, eyes and mouth every time the tyres need deflating or inflating. A baseball bat would have helped for the March flies in Port Smith. On the other side of the coin, the beach at Gordons Bay just north of there, only be accessible by 4WD, was spectacular and deserted. Brendan's advice to let the tyres down to 15 psi on sand came in handy there, and on our trip from Quobba past Red Bluff, Gnaraloo, Warroora and a day or so later on the trip from Coral Bay up to Exmouth via Ningaloo and Yardie Creek. We crossed the sand in the Yardie creek bed and nearby beach with no problems and a 4WD immediately got bogged going the other way. It cost us a bit over $20 to get the red dust off the car at the car wash they recommended in Broome. Overall it was a magnificent holiday made possible by the camper and wonderful service provided by the people in the Perth and Broome offices of Broome & Beyond.
We had a great holiday driving from Broome to Perth , everything was spot on with the 4WD ,even all its accessories and equipment. Would not hesitate hiring from these guys again , Brendon and Tracy were unreal and easy to deal with making the whole experience so much better. This is by far the best hire company I’ve dealt with for real adventure. The Trayon system is really simple to use and allows for unlimited exploration of the top end and Kimberley. Tracey is an asset to the company who is helpful and knowledgeable. My family and I had a fantastic time and we will look to hire again for a similar adventure. The camper is suitable for two adults and my 6 year old daughter. We had the fortune of experiencing some very remote areas with this setup without a care in the world. Totally disconnected from the world.
My husband & I, both seniors, hired a Hilux dual cab with rooftop tent & Trayon for 3 weeks to do the Gibb River Rd. We found the company to be honest & helpful & the almost new vehicle was capable & well set up for the trip. Our experience was amazing & am already planning the next adventure & would not hesitate to use Broome & Beyond or WA Experts, as they're also known. We had travel insurance so took basic cover with this company which saved us money but with lots of side trips to gorges on non gazetted roads realised we had no cover on these tracks which we would have had with companies own insurance, so something to consider when booking. Also everything on trayon is quite high to reach, lights, see in fridge,so helpful to have some small folding steps with you. Thank you Broome & Beyond for your timely responses to all my emails, for the amazing, well set up & comfortable hire vehicle & tent, your helpful pleasant staff & for your rapid return of my bond, it was back in my account the following day. Advise to renters, respect what you've hired belongs to someone else & return in good clean condition.
We have nothing but praise for the service and camper vehicle we hired for 3 months recently. All care was taken to ensure it was well fitted out - even including a rechargeable fan and torch. Then en route when we had a few small queries, or issues, Brendan was immediately available and got things sorted. The Trayon was most comfortable and it didn’t take long for us (two 75 year olds) to put up and take down, most efficiently - we did need the 2-step stool supplied though!! Thanks very much for everything.

This is the second time we have rented a vehicle from Broome Beyond or WA Experts and we would do so again at any time. Great vehicles, great equipment, a super uncomplicated company. The whole thing feels like you were renting the vehicle from a private person. Brandon, John and team do a great job. If a problem arises, it can be solved very easily. We have already booked vehicles and campers in many places in Europe and have never received vehicles in top condition under these conditions and with this service. Fantastic Service. Unbelievable vehicle - Mighty Toyota took us 6,700Kms in 13 days and never missed a beat. 600kms full 4WD with lowered tyre pressures on sand, mud, creeks - it didn't matter. What a vehicle and super comfy too. Trayon was perfect for 2 of us in separate beds, did the job. Can't wait to go again.
We had a fabulous 10 days in a Toyota Hilux Trayon tripping around the NT national parks! The vehicle was in great condition and very capable. All camping equipment was supplied. I travelled solo in a 4wd camper from Darwin, through Kakadu, Nitmiluk, Mataranka and south to Alice and Uluṟu & Kata Tjuka. A fabulous trip. The camper was perfectly equipped and it was manageable to put up and down by myself. Such an amazing part of our beautiful country. The team at Broome and Beyond have been fabulous. After a great experience hiring a camper from Broome & Beyond to travel through the east Kimberley in May (ex-Darwin), we hired from them again for our recent west Kimberley adventure (ex-Broome). Another fantastic trip and excellent service from start to finish from the Broome & Beyond team. We hired a 78 Land Cruiser troopy for our May trip and an Isuzu Tray-on for our recent trip. Both great vehicles, well maintained and fitted out with everything you need. Would definitely go through Broome & Beyond again!

We had a fantastic holiday in part due to the quality and care that goes into look after us and providing a 4WD and Camper that more than makes life easy when away from the world. We loved the Hilux and TrayOn so much we are in the process of buying one for our home adventures here in NZ. We will be back to book another vehicle for the next segment of our Oz adventures.

A great trip overall with the Hilux and Trayon the perfect combo for the Gibb and the Bungles. 4 rather than 5 stars as we had minor warning light issues on the Hilux (although it performed brilliantly despite the warnings) and some more major issues with closing the Trayon from Day 2 of 11 onwards. Despite that, Brendan picked up the phone when I called from the Gibb, immediately offered a practical and easy solution on how to close it externally and we motored on from there. Great communication, much more competitively priced compared to Apollo so would recommend this company if this is an area of Australia you are keen to see...and you should be!!!
We hired a camper for 3 weeks in February 2023. The vehicle was new and had everything we needed. We got into a small accident and Brendan and Tracey were so helpful in figuring out all the logistics for us. They provided truly exceptional customer service. Their care and attention took a lot of the stress out of the experience. We chose them due to the excellent reviews and I'm glad we did since they exceeded even our own expectations in that regard. We hired a Toyota Hilux with a Trayon from Broome and beyond for 3 weeks in May. We had a great trip traveling from Broome to Darwin via the Gibb River Road. A real 4WD adventure! The combined car and camper was perfect - taking us everywhere we wanted to go. We felt well equipped and comfortable, and Brendan and Tracey were super helpful.
Went to look at the campers as doing the Gibb River road next year. Lovely helpful staff with great vehicles with everything you need for a trip on the Gibb. We have since booked and excited looking forward to next year. I will say it's very expensive but it's what you have to pay if you want to do it. We did get a discount think cos it's 21 days.
Don was super helpful in planning our long road trip, with his local knowledge, and provided us with an ideal vehicle for that role- a Toyota Hilux, battery big enough for the fridge, much larger fuel tank for the long distances required, plenty of power to tow the campervan and pass the long road trains, and doors to the rear storage lifting up on each side for easy access to the equipment and food. Booking was straightforward, and the lady preparing the vehicle and necessary connections to the campervan for departure super friendly and helpful.

We rented a Hilux Trayon from Broome and Beyond for 4 weeks and travelled through Western Australia. The truck was excellent - we could go anyplace - the roof top tent was easy to setup and all little things you need out in the bush were available. A little issue withbthe stove was fixed by the firm in record time. Tracey and Brandon are great. They were so friendly and helpful that we rather felt like friends than customers. To cut it short. When you are looking for a 4WD truck to travel through WA Broome and Beyond are the perfect provider!
Great service, top 4WD! We recommend anyone in Western and Northern Australia who needs a 4WD with rooftop tent, kitchen, shower and solar panel to rent from Brendan & Tracey. We toured around for a month without any problems, including in the outback. Communication was very good. The tent is large, you have enough space in the kitchen, you can also easily connect the gas hob outside, the refrigerator is very spacious, the toilet is easy and can be easily stored away. The tent can be set up in 5 minutes and collapsed in less than 10 minutes. There is plenty of room to store your clothes and other belongings. There are plenty of kitchen utensils and tools, chairs, table…. And if you need anything extra… just ask Brendan. We will come back and definitely rent our jeep here again.

We arranged our camper through Tracy. Brendan gave us a run down on pick up in Perth. Both Tracy and Brendan were very helpful. The camper came with everything we needed for the trip. We drove from Perth to Broome and back with no problems at all. We loved the incredible access this 4x4 gave us. Having the option to cook inside and out was really helpful too when the wind picked up - I noticed other campers on the road were forced to do outside cooking.
Thanks so much to Brendan and Tracey who patiently facilitated our many changes of plans due to Covid-19 related border closures. The Trayon was the perfect way to explore the west coast from Broome to Perth, we were very comfortable and were able to access campsites where there were no others around due to its 4WD capabilities (what a treat!). Would definitely recommend to anyone - especially for the customer service.
Highly recommend these guys! They have you sorted from the get go! Great communication and everything you need + more with the camper. Our 4x4 Dualcab pop up camper had plenty of space for the 3 adults, and was very comfortable for the long drives down the coast. Car was in great condition, and of course the customer service is gold standard. Not usually the camper type, but would definitely do this again! Thanks guys for a great experience!
Best experience, couldnt have been better! 100% recommend using them, they are extremely good and their campers are maintained to the highest level and fully kitted. I had a brand new 2022 hilux which was perfect and could handle any part of WA. They are really personal and make sure you have everything you can possibly need for your trip. Staff are super responsive should you need anything! No issues at all, really impressed!
We were very happy with our experience with this firm. We originally booked a 4WD camper-van for a trip to the Kimberley in 2021- that had to be deferred to 2022. Just finished 27 days in the van along the GRR and then on the black top back to Broome. Everything was ship shape: picked up the vehicle, bought our food and then off on our adventure. Everything was there and worked well! We found everyone we dealt with from booking to picking the van up and return very professional, responsive and helpful. Don at Broome was a delight to deal with and went out of his way to assist. I would recommend this firm.
We just has an awesome 10 days on the Gibb with a Isuzu dual cab Ute with roof top tent from Broome and beyond. The car didn't miss a beat on this rough track! Everything is supplied, linen, Engel fridge, epirb etc. The service of Dan, Tracey And Don was excellent. I highly recimmend them !!
We hired a tray on Toyota Hilux just a few weeks ago and the whole process from start to finish was amazing! The booking team and the team at the pickup site in Broome were extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Everything has been thought of...these vehicles have everything you need, just pack your clothes and buy your food! Have already recommended to others, and we will be hiring again soon! Thank you Dan and Saphira. I am not a camper but after our experience with your 4WD and the Gibb River Road trip I am a convert!! Loved the freedom of eating under the stars every night and the flexibility of setting our own agenda with the trayon camper, which had everything we needed. Two weeks in the camper flew past, and I feel we need to go back and explore more! Great service!

Our trip was just awesome thanks to Dan and his lovely staff. The car was super clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. Even the little things like dish washing liquid and matches got provided... It was just wonderful and we'll be back for sure!
