Dual Cab 4×4 & Canopy

We had the most fabulous experience with Broome and Beyond. We rented the Trayon Extra Cab for two weeks, which we took around Kakadu, Nitmiluk, Elsey and Litchfield national parks. The team have thought of absolutely everything to make sure you have an enjoyable trip - from all the cooking gear you could possibly need including a gas cooker, kettle, frypan and pots, dish cleaning supplies, towels and linen. The bed was super comfortable and the camper was super spacious for two people, for eating, relaxing and escaping the mosquitoes at night. The cab is also stocked with everything you need, and the team take the time to explain all the various features and get you comfortable with the gear before you head off. While we didn't end up on a 4wd only road, the gear to deflate and inflate tyre pressure was incredibly easy to use even if you have minimal experience. The team were super communicative and flexible, very easy to work with and made the experience seamless and stress free. We will recommend Broome and Beyond to friends and family looking for a comfortable and affordable vehicle/accommodation combo in the NT and WA, and would absolutely hire from them again. Absoluter Wahnsinn! Vom Fahrzeug über die Beratung zum Support war alles super! Wir haben einen Monat im Hawk Camper (Toyota HiLux) verbracht. Das Auto war sehr komfortabel und super ausgerüstet mit allem was man braucht. Brandon und sein Team waren jedezeit erreichbar und halfen wo sie konnten. We were able to experience many beautiful things during our 3 month trip trough WA and NT Among other things, the car and Tryon cab was in very good condition. We got a brand new car and cab We can warmly recommend WA Experts. The support before and during the trip was extraordinarly.

A great trip overall with the Hilux and Trayon the perfect combo for the Gibb and the Bungles. 4 rather than 5 stars as we had minor warning light issues on the Hilux (although it performed brilliantly despite the warnings) and some more major issues with closing the Trayon from Day 2 of 11 onwards. Despite that, Brendan picked up the phone when I called from the Gibb, immediately offered a practical and easy solution on how to close it externally and we motored on from there. Great communication, much more competitively priced compared to Apollo so would recommend this company if this is an area of Australia you are keen to see...and you should be!!!

Broome @ Beyond lives 4WD from advice to return. Introduction and support were excellent. The Hilux Trayon Camper was the perfect choice for our trip from Darwin – Gibb – Mitchell Falls – Ashburton Downs- Mt. Augustus. It was very reliable and equipped with everything you need in the outback. We also appreciated that we were completely self-sufficient (electricity, water, gas and toilet). In the cool spring north of Perth it was quite cold in the tent at night and we were glad to have a sleeping bag with us. We enjoyed every kilometre. Thank you very much Tracy, Brendan and the whole team. We will definitely come back.

The best thing about Christmas isn't the fat red man, the imaginary God.... or the ample beer consumption.... no.... it's renting a 70 series landcruiser from Broome and Beyond. For me, it has become a ritual. Brendan and his fabulous team have equipped these indestructible vehicles with all you need for your own adventure into the Australian Bush. This year we headed up to Exmouth. Stopping off at Trisel beach we saw Green turtles struggling against the waves as they made their way up a moonlit beach to lay their eggs. No one else was there; half a dozen majestic reptiles, us, and a fabulous manual land cruiser with a fridge full of cold beer. Thanks Brendan, you are the real Santa.

We hired a Toyota Hilux with a rooftop tent from Broome & Beyond for 2 months and drove from Perth to Darwin including the Gibb Road and The Bungle Bungles. If we could, we would give more stars. We have never been so satisfied with a rental company: - Super fast service and feedback on questions at any time - Very quick help and support when we had a flat tyre. The bill was paid directly by Broome & Beyond, thanks to the insurance we chose - Very new and reliable vehicle with only around 8'000 km when we took it over - Everything was super clean when we picked it up, the vehicle was like new and everything was explained in detail. For example, headlamps were also included, super cooking utensils, sharp knives, large water tank, etc. The bed was also comfortable. - Any questions were also clarified in advance. - The vehicle is perfectly equipped for difficult 4x4 routes in the outback. - Thanks to the large 100-litre diesel tank, we were able to drive long distances without any problems. We would rent a vehicle here again at any time. Thank you for this amazing adventure!!

We had a brilliant adventure in WA made all the better thanks to Broome & Beyond's Hilux camper. Broome & Beyond's communication is the perfect example of how you communicate with your customers. From answering pre-booking questions, to updates leading up to the booking date, to answering questions during our trip, Brendan was always prompt with replies. The time Brendan spent with us delivering the camper, making sure we were comfortable and familiar with all aspects of the car's controls/systems and the camper set up and pack away set us up for success in our adventure. The equipment supplied with the vehicle is extensive and well sorted. We hope to be able to travel back to WA in the future, and Broome & Beyond will be our go-to company for future adventures.

We hired a Toyota Hilux with a Trayon from Broome and beyond for 3 weeks in May. We had a great trip traveling from Broome to Darwin via the Gibb River Road. A real 4WD adventure! The combined car and camper was perfect - taking us everywhere we wanted to go. We felt well equipped and comfortable, and Brendan and Tracey were super helpful.

From start to finish we had an excellent experience hiring a 4wd space cab trayon camper from Brendan and Tracey. Any queries were answered swiftly and thoroughly. The vehicle was well maintained and had everything in it for our adventure to outback NT. The "midgie" netting in the Camper, as promised, kept out the bugs. Pick up was easy, with everything we needed to know being explained to us. Drop off was just as easy. The insurance deposit was refunded within 48 hours of drop off. We can highly recommend this company and would definitely hire from them again.

The whole process was seamless from booking to drop off, and the vehicle and tent held up well on the Gibb and in the rain when we ventured further south. Travel with the car rented from these guys was a really nice experience for our family in west Australia, the car was perfectly equipped for way more that we were able to do; we were travelling with two kids and they just fully enjoyed! The Kimberley by 4wd is getting so popular that I booked over 6 months ahead to get the vehicle and company I wanted. The reviews of Broome and Beyond are well earned. My partner and I had an extraordinary 3 weeks travelling in an extra cab Hilux with a Trayon camper. The vehicle was on its third hire and looked brand new. This was a bit daunting as I knew from my previous trip in the Gibb River Road just how hard on vehicles it can be, and I thought that dings and scratches would be inevitable. We first travelled to the Dampier Peninsula to get familiar with the rig and to make sure we had everything under control before we headed North from Broome.We had our first minor issue on a Sunday (of course) when we could not get the air hose to connect properly to the compressor. Brendan arranged for us to visit one of the super friendly staff at the Broome office to look at it. He was at home (it was Sunday) and he fixed the problem in 5 minutes then we were on our way. That's what I call service! The corrugations were so bad that it caused the front number plate to suffer metal fatigue and fall off somewhere along the road. We contacted Brendan who told us not to worry and that it was a fairly common issue. The last issue was completely my fault as I had got the time for the vehicle return wrong. Anyone who has ever hired a car and failed to return it by the agreed time will know what a big deal this is. Brendan and the wonderful team at the Broome office sorted us out and the holiday ended with smiles all around. Making a booking so far in advance and paying out many thousands of dollars for a holiday is always a bit of a gamble. In our case it was so worth it. The vehicle got us through some atrocious roads and mud puddles without a murmur. The Trayon camper is a good concept but felt a bit rough around the edges with some very quirky features like tent pegs as adjustable pins for the entry stairs. We are in our seventies and reasonably fit, but the set-up and take down was always a bit of a chore. Because of the way that many campsites are organised now, you set up camp in the afternoon then have to pack up everything in the morning to drive the few kilometres to see the gorge or whatever. That probably explains why camper trailers and huge caravans are now the vehicles of choice. I guess everything has its place, but personally, I was very glad to see double axle caravans banned from Pernululu. In summary, we had a great experience, and simply could not fault the service and care from the whole team at Broome and Beyond.

Our 4x4 Dualcab pop up camper had plenty of space for the 3 adults, and was very comfortable for the long drives down the coast. Car was in great condition, and of course the customer service is gold standard. Not usually the camper type, but would definitely do this again! Thanks guys for a great experience!

Our trip was just awesome thanks to Dan and his lovely staff. The car was super clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. Even the little things like dish washing liquid and matches got provided... It was just wonderful and we'll be back for sure!

This has been definitely the trip in a lifetime and Tracey and Brendan have been instrumental in making sure everything worked out perfect. Not only whre the two cars we used always in perfect condition and the handover was smooth and professional but when we run into unforeseen mechanical problems they provided inmediately full support to make sure we could still get a maximum benefit of our trip and continue the trip once a replacement camper arrived. They were available almost 24h when required and Tracey even showed up in Broom when we handed the camper back after successfully completing our 3 week voyage. I can not imaging a better provider. When you embark on such a long 4x4 voyage through the outback you need to be sure everything will always work out fine and Broome & Beyond and WA Experts are the best partners you can expect.

We picked up our Hilux in Broome and drove the Gibb River Road, across to Katherine and then onto Darwin. Tracey and Brendan made the whole experience super easy and were so great to communicate with - from the initial booking, to numerous emails prior to departure, talking us through the camper at pickup and then prompt replies to questions/queries along the way. Nothing was a hassle. Easy set up and pack away, comfortable bed and enough room and storage for all of our food and clothing. Highly recommend Broome & Beyond and wouldn't hesitate to use them again for another trip.

The hilux and trayon was the perfect vehicle for the Gibb River and Purnululu. Very accommodating staff in Broome and Brendon was very supportive with a couple of minor issues we had. Highly recommended.

Passte alles! Eine ausführliche Einweisung in den Trayon inclusive Auf und Abbau, der Hilux in super gepflegtem Zustand. Viele pragmatisch wichtige Details (unter anderem 2 Kopflampen incl. Ersatzbatterien, erste Hilfe Kit, Walkie Talkie mit Fernfahrerkanal zur Abstimmung mit Road Trains, Leine mit Klammern, Ventilator, ... ). Brendan war immer erreichbar per WhatsApp. Wir sind 8500 km ohne irgendein technisches Problem in WA unterwegs gewesen. Für uns wäre Broome&Beyond immer die erste Wahl!

Fantastic Service. Unbelievable vehicle - Mighty Toyota took us 6,700Kms in 13 days and never missed a beat. 600kms full 4WD with lowered tyre pressures on sand, mud, creeks - it didn't matter. What a vehicle and super comfy too. Trayon was perfect for 2 of us in separate beds, did the job. Can't wait to go again.

We chose Broome & Beyond for our month-long trip through Western Australia because we had only heard positive reports about it. And we were not disappointed. Booking online was straightforward and communication was excellent. On site, Brendan introduced us to the vehicle. Everything had been thought of for a trip into the outback, right down to the satellite emergency call. The electric air pump was very useful, helping us to adjust the tyre pressure for the different terrain conditions. The radio for communicating with the road trains and construction sites was also very practical. The vehicle itself was in excellent condition. During the trip, it was confirmed time and again that the Trayon was the perfect choice. It was possible to drive to any location and spend the night wherever we wanted. Within a few minutes, the camper was ready for us to spend the night. The little extras such as lamps, stools etc. were also included. When shopping, it was practical to have the fridge within easy reach so that you could store your purchases directly in the supermarket car park. Despite the mobile phone navigation, the maps provided were worth their weight in gold, especially for trips to remote areas. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and will be using Broome & Beyond again on our next trip to Australia. We never had a breakdown or malfunction during the entire trip and the large fuel tank made us feel safe. By the way, the return of the vehicle was just as uncomplicated as the handover. Our Extra cab Wedgetail camper was sensational! - virtually new, excellent tyres, 2 spares, well equipped for a month out in the Kimberley. Quick to set up and pack up too. We had an amazing trip and would not hesitate to book through this crew again.

I travelled solo in a 4wd camper from Darwin, through Kakadu, Nitmiluk, Mataranka and south to Alice and Uluṟu & Kata Tjuka. A fabulous trip. The camper was perfectly equipped and it was manageable to put up and down by myself. Such an amazing part of our beautiful country. The team at Broome and Beyond have been fabulous. Working with me through border closures and rearranging of schedules. Brendan, Tracey and John were all very friendly and helpful.

Very happy with the well equipped vehicle and associated camping gear they have provided. All worked according to plan on our Gibb River Rd adventure (Broom to Darwin). Great pre-hire briefing as we picked up the vehicle. The daunting task of setting up the Trayon camper was much easier then expected. Staff was friendly and we had good communication before and after our trip. Insurance excess refund was promptly processed after we returned the vehicle. Very happy to use them again for our next adventure.

Great service, top 4WD! Wij raden iedereen aan die in West- en Noord- Australië nood heeft aan een 4WD met rooftoptent, keuken, douche en zonnepaneel op bij Brendan & Tracey te huren. We hebben een maand rond getoerd zonder problemen, ook in de outback. Communicatie was heel goed. De tent is groot, je hebt genoeg plaats aan de keuken, je kan de gaskookplaat ook gemakkelijk buiten koppelen, de ijskast is heel ruim, de wc is gemakkelijk en kan je goed wegbergen. De tent is op 5 min opgesteld en op minder dan 10 terug ingeklapt. Er is voldoende plaats om je kleren en ander gerief op te bergen. Er is voldoende keukengerei en gereedschap, stoelen, tafel…. En als je iets extra nodig hebt… just ask Brendan. Wij komen terug en huren dan zeker weten hier weer onze jeep.

We rented a Hilux Trayon from Broome and Beyond for 4 weeks and travelled through Western Australia. The truck was excellent - we could go anyplace - the roof top tent was easy to setup and all little things you need out in the bush were available. A little issue withbthe stove was fixed by the firm in record time. Tracey and Brandon are great. They were so friendly and helpful that we rather felt like friends than customers. To cut it short. When you are looking for a 4WD truck to travel through WA Broome and Beyond are the perfect provider!

Wij zijn met z’n vieren begonnen in Perth. Daar werden we goed op weg geholpen. De hele westkust afgereden naar Darwin, inclusief de Gibb en de Bungles in 5 weken tijd. Brandon was altijd snel met het beantwoorden van onze vragen. Voor een gezin van vier was het een prima rooftop. Al is er natuurlijk weinig opbergruimte en kun je niet met z’n vieren binnen zitten.
