This is by far the best hire company I’ve dealt with for real adventure. The Trayon system is really simple to use and allows for unlimited exploration of the top end and Kimberley. Tracey is an asset to the company who is helpful and knowledgeable. My family and I had a fantastic time and we will look to hire again for a similar adventure. The camper is suitable for two adults and my 6 year old daughter. We had the fortune of experiencing some very remote areas with this setup without a care in the world. Totally disconnected from the world.

Great company and team. We hired a Toyota 4x4 hilux extra cab for 10 days. The team gave a detailed explanation of the car and its functions, so we were prepared when we needed it. Car was in perfect shape, held everything that was promised, and delivered even more. Would hire again anytime.

Cannot rate our hire experience more highly. From initial inquiries to pick up and communication along the way Brendan and Tracey have been fantastic to deal with. Our Extra cab Wedgetail camper was sensational! - virtually new, excellent tyres, 2 spares, well equipped for a month out in the Kimberley. Quick to set up and pack up too. We had an amazing trip and would not hesitate to book through this crew again.

We hired a 4WD Toyota Hi Lux with trayon camper from Perth to Broome 4/10/23 via the coast up to Exmouth, then in to Karijini, back the coast from Port Hedland north. Brendan and Tracey were wonderful as already stated in these reviews. The Hi Lux could have taken us anywhere. It did 110 km/hour on the sealed roads with no problems, about 11-14 L/100 km and felt equally at home on sand and corrugations around Karijini. In the camper the fridge and stove worked beautifully and the battery, powered by solar panels and the alternator, would have sustained us for 2-3 days easily. The little gas stove was a special treat, using very little of the cylinder of gas provided. It warmed us nicely when we cooked dinner inside in the cold coastal winds, and the rechargeable fan was wonderful at Cheela Plains where the temperature at sundown was 42 degrees. Bed was very comfortable and the canvas cooled down quickly after sunset with fantastic windows and screens. The shower with plastic skirts for privacy was a wonderful luxury and used very little of our water supply at the few places we stayed without water. This was our first trip camping or staying at caravan parks and we booked everywhere in advance as two of the three weeks were WA school holidays. In retrospect we didn't need to as this camper would have sustained us in roadside free camping areas for days at a time. The standard of cleanliness in every place we stayed was great, and the reception we got everywhere was wonderful. Fellow travellers were mostly our age (70s) although we met some lovely younger families as well. Brendan answered immediately when I forgot his instructions on how to tie down the fold out section whose gas struts were pushing it back up on our first night setting up in the dark in Geraldton. I forgot a lot of his detailed advice about setting up and packing camp so reinvented the wheel as we went: we should have taken a video when he was showing us the set up in Perth. I found that when folding up the top, using some cord to tie it down about 30 cm from fully closed, stopped the gas struts from opening it again, which would have allowed folds of canvas to obstruct closure. Instead it allowed me to go around tucking in the canvas top before clipping the top down. There are 24 hour credit card bowsers about 10 km south of Exmouth on the way back to the northern highway, about 15 c/L cheaper. Diesel cost us $2.25 at a BP workshop in Port Hedland up to > $2.70 at Sandfire Roadhouse. We made the mistake of topping up there for > $100 then finding the caravan park at Port Smith had a diesel bowser then costing $2.61. We did not think to ask for: coffee plunger, beach towels, tarp or other mat to spread on the ground around the stairs under our fold out bed section to stop importing the red dust at many of the campgrounds and caravan parks. I am sure Brendan would have provided something like this if we had thought to ask. Our can of Rid came in handy for Mr McGowan's welcoming committee for NSW people, of bush flies that otherwise crawled into ears, eyes and mouth every time the tyres need deflating or inflating. A baseball bat would have helped for the March flies in Port Smith. On the other side of the coin, the beach at Gordons Bay just north of there, only be accessible by 4WD, was spectacular and deserted. Brendan's advice to let the tyres down to 15 psi on sand came in handy there, and on our trip from Quobba past Red Bluff, Gnaraloo, Warroora and a day or so later on the trip from Coral Bay up to Exmouth via Ningaloo and Yardie Creek. We crossed the sand in the Yardie creek bed and nearby beach with no problems and a 4WD immediately got bogged going the other way. It cost us a bit over $20 to get the red dust off the car at the car wash they recommended in Broome. Overall it was a magnificent holiday made possible by the camper and wonderful service provided by the people in the Perth and Broome offices of Broome & Beyond.

We hired a Toyota Hilux D/C Trayon for 23 days to do the Gibb/Kimberley’s and found them to be good people to deal with and had no problems from start to finish and thanks to all the staff of Broome and Beyond Highly Recommended Cade & Susan Jenkins

Wij zijn met z’n vieren begonnen in Perth. Daar werden we goed op weg geholpen. De hele westkust afgereden naar Darwin, inclusief de Gibb en de Bungles in 5 weken tijd. Brandon was altijd snel met het beantwoorden van onze vragen. Voor een gezin van vier was het een prima rooftop. Al is er natuurlijk weinig opbergruimte en kun je niet met z’n vieren binnen zitten.

Loved the freedom of eating under the stars every night and the flexibility of setting our own agenda with the trayon camper, which had everything we needed. Absolutely recommend if you are wanting to hire a 4 WD camper from Broome. As we were flying in from overseas we had some queries and Brendan and Tracey were so helpful. The flip top Trayon camper was easy to use and well equipped. There was a 24 hour number to call if help was needed, providing there as cell reception. UHF radio and SOS button provided. There is plenty of room behind the front seats for storage of things you might need for the day but fridge easily accessible without fully unfolding the camper. We will certainly use again. Thanks for making the trip of a lifetime to the remote Kimberley possible with so little hassle !

We had an amazing trip in a hilux 4wd camper- hired through Broome and Beyond (WA Experts). Would definitely recommend and use again ⭐️ Communications were excellent, prior to, and after booking. A very thorough explanation of the set up and features at the time of pick up, and detailed instructions included if we needed anything else while on our travels The camper was so easy to set up, and included everything we needed for our 11 day road trip up the WA coast I loved that previous campers gifted items that they had leftover for us to to choose from and make use of, which we returned, along with items we also had left over - camping mat, hat, condiments, tins etc We had a blast!!!

We had a brilliant adventure in WA made all the better thanks to Broome & Beyond's Hilux camper. Broome & Beyond's communication is the perfect example of how you communicate with your customers. From answering pre-booking questions, to updates leading up to the booking date, to answering questions during our trip, Brendan was always prompt with replies. The time Brendan spent with us delivering the camper, making sure we were comfortable and familiar with all aspects of the car's controls/systems and the camper set up and pack away set us up for success in our adventure. The equipment supplied with the vehicle is extensive and well sorted. We hope to be able to travel back to WA in the future, and Broome & Beyond will be our go-to company for future adventures.

We chose Broome & Beyond for our month-long trip through Western Australia because we had only heard positive reports about it. And we were not disappointed. Booking online was straightforward and communication was excellent. On site, Brendan introduced us to the vehicle. Everything had been thought of for a trip into the outback, right down to the satellite emergency call. The electric air pump was very useful, helping us to adjust the tyre pressure for the different terrain conditions. The radio for communicating with the road trains and construction sites was also very practical. The vehicle itself was in excellent condition. During the trip, it was confirmed time and again that the Trayon was the perfect choice. It was possible to drive to any location and spend the night wherever we wanted. Within a few minutes, the camper was ready for us to spend the night. The little extras such as lamps, stools etc. were also included. When shopping, it was practical to have the fridge within easy reach so that you could store your purchases directly in the supermarket car park. Despite the mobile phone navigation, the maps provided were worth their weight in gold, especially for trips to remote areas. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and will be using Broome & Beyond again on our next trip to Australia. We never had a breakdown or malfunction during the entire trip and the large fuel tank made us feel safe. By the way, the return of the vehicle was just as uncomplicated as the handover. Hired a Toyota Hilux with Trayon for 29 nights to travel the Gibb River road and then on to Darwin. This was an excellent choice for us and far better than a rooftop tent. The Trayon is easy to set up (5 minutes max) and provides plenty of luxuries, fridge, sink, lots of storage. The vehicles had done less than 50,000k and performed as expected. On the couple of occasions that we needed to contact Broome and Beyond for advice it was as simple as a phone call and resolved immediately. Thanks to B+B we had a fabulous trip and will use them again for our next trip in the Kimberlies.

Best experience, couldnt have been better! 100% recommend using them, they are extremely good and their campers are maintained to the highest level and fully kitted. I had a brand new 2022 hilux which was perfect and could handle any part of WA. They are really personal and make sure you have everything you can possibly need for your trip. Staff are super responsive should you need anything! No issues at all, really impressed!

We rented the 4x4 Toyota Hilux with a rooftop tent in March, and it was absolutely perfect for our family of two adults and two children. There’s a comfortable double bed for the parents, and each child has their own bed as well. The storage space was much larger than expected! With the built-in fridge and clever storage setup, we were able to travel completely self-sufficient for about 10 days without needing a powered campsite. The fridge runs on solar panels, and we could easily charge all our electronic devices. The equipment is very well thought out and perfectly organized. A real highlight is the included air compressor for inflating the tires — something most other rental companies don’t provide! Having your own compressor means you can explore off-road areas independently, without relying on compressor stations in the parks. The staff were extremely friendly, and we could even leave our suitcases at the rental station during our trip. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend these guys! They have you sorted from the get go! Great communication and everything you need + more with the camper. Our 4x4 Dualcab pop up camper had plenty of space for the 3 adults, and was very comfortable for the long drives down the coast. Car was in great condition, and of course the customer service is gold standard. Not usually the camper type, but would definitely do this again! Thanks guys for a great experience!

Recently finished up our two week trip through the Kimberley’s on the Gibb and the great northern highway. Brandon and he’s team were so helpful from the start to finish. We hired a Hilux 4x4 with a tray on the Ute was given to us in great condition and super clear and we didn’t have a problem the whole trip it was easy to set up and pack down and was also very comfortable. The Ute comes with absolutely everything provided for camping making the trip super easy!! Couldn’t recommend Broome and beyond more, thank you guys !

Thanks to the guys at Broome and Beyond for their informative demo of how the toyota 4WD Trayon system works, and their assistance in making it more 'short female' friendly. I spent 38 days travelling on the Gibb solo at 63 from Darwin to Broome. The trayon and vehicle were awesome, no punctures, breakdowns or anything else. Our trip was just awesome thanks to Dan and his lovely staff. The car was super clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. Even the little things like dish washing liquid and matches got provided... It was just wonderful and we'll be back for sure!

We were able to go and look at the campers at Canning Vale, before making our decision. We found the team here in Perth and in Broome friendly, very approachable and helpful. We booked the camper and picked it up in Broome. It worked well for our needs, we did the Gibb River Road. No issues with anything, all worked well. We hired a Toyota Highlux with a Trayon-Camper and got a perfect solution for an epic 6month-trip through Australia. We did 4WD-tracks like the Gibb, Oodnadatta, Francois Peron, Purnululu and many more and felt always comfortable, since the pickup was very reliable and extremely well equipped. Being photographers it was crucial for us to load our camera- and drone batteries every day and with the solar panel-generated electricity it worked fine. When we had questions, Brendan gave us an answer within short time, so we felt very well supported by Broome & Beyond.

We just has an awesome 10 days on the Gibb with a Isuzu dual cab Ute with roof top tent from Broome and beyond. The car didn't miss a beat on this rough track! Everything is supplied, linen, Engel fridge, epirb etc. The service of Dan, Tracey And Don was excellent. I highly recimmend them !!

We arranged our camper through Tracy. Brendan gave us a run down on pick up in Perth. Both Tracy and Brendan were very helpful. The camper came with everything we needed for the trip. We drove from Perth to Broome and back with no problems at all. We loved the incredible access this 4x4 gave us. Having the option to cook inside and out was really helpful too when the wind picked up - I noticed other campers on the road were forced to do outside cooking.

Fahrzeug war in einem guten Zustand und für unseren Trip über die Gibb River Road und durch die Nationalparks von Western Australia super geeignet. In Darwin haben wir eine umfangreiche, professionelle Einweisung erhalten (leider den Namen vergessen ;)) Immer gute Unterstützung bei Fragen per Email bekommen. Problemlose Übergabe in Perth. Geweldige verhuurder van 4 wd met dubbele daktent. Vanaf eerste mailcontact vriendelijk en goed geholpen. Uitleg bij ophalen was prettig en compleet. Onderweg een keer contact gehad en toen ook goed geholpen. Met 5 personen (3 jeugdigen van 21 en 23 jaar) in Toyota Hilux met dubbele daktent en extra swag (1 persoons tentje) paste alles prima. Super rondreis gemaakt in West-Australië. Zou zo weer huren bij ze!

Hard to find need more signage

We had a great holiday in Kakadu/Litchfield with our Camper. Perfectly set up vehicles with everything you need. Super easy to set up and really comfortable. Vehicles are easy to drive which was great for us, as we weren't overly experienced with a 4WD.

We have rented a car from Broome and Beyond three times. Travelling through WA and into the goldfields is so easy and convenient with this car and the Trayon is a perfect little house for two. The car has all the necessary equipement and the back up service from Brendan and his staff is marvelous. For the next trip to WA we will fore sure rent from this company again.
