The hiring process was easy and appropriate information provided via email in timely form. Mr VA was extremely helpful when collecting vehicle, explaining all the extra options and free stuff availability from other clients leftovers. Everything was very clear. They provided extra blankets as it was expected to be cold nights in Karijini. The vehicle was perfect for our needs and the return process was smooth so I highly recommend this company and if I repeat experience in Darwin or Perth I am sure I would use it again. From start to finish we had an excellent experience hiring a 4wd space cab trayon camper from Brendan and Tracey. Any queries were answered swiftly and thoroughly. The vehicle was well maintained and had everything in it for our adventure to outback NT. The "midgie" netting in the Camper, as promised, kept out the bugs. Pick up was easy, with everything we needed to know being explained to us. Drop off was just as easy. The insurance deposit was refunded within 48 hours of drop off. We can highly recommend this company and would definitely hire from them again.

If you want to get the full 4wd experience in Australia, don't look for any other company. Great cars, great people. We travelled with 4 adults in two Extra Cab Campers and it was awesome. Very spacious inside, but it can get cold in the night. They also provide you with everything you need for your trip. Especially good is the long range fuel tank. So you can do roughly 1000km before fueling up. So yeah, great company with great prices.

So glad we chose to hire a camper through Broome & Beyond. The whole process was seamless from booking to drop off, and the vehicle and tent held up well on the Gibb and in the rain when we ventured further south. They have thought of everything you need, and make sure any issues that arise along the way are resolved quickly so you can continue the adventure without stress. We had the trip of a lifetime!

We enjoyed our recent Kimberly adventure in our Broome and Beyond tray on camper. Our trip was from Broome, Gibb River road, Bungle bungles and Dampier peninsula and return to Broome The vehicle was extremely reliable and dealt with the rough roads easily and was quite economical . The hand over was well explained and within a couple of days we became quite efficient in getting the roof top up and down. The kitchen amenities were fine and the fridge and water supply were more than adequate. The customer service and communication with Brendan and Tracy and other staff was excellent. Definitely recommend B and B campers for rent.

We hired the 2 person Hilux and camper and did the Gibb River Rd to Purnalulu and back. Everything was very comfortable and capable and Broome and Beyond provided great support throughout. Everyting on the Gibb was phenomenal too!

The Hilux was perfect for our 7-week adventure. We never had any issues and it was super reliable. We were very glad to have chosen this camper, as the rooftop tent and inside area were great and gave us shelter from all the flies. :) We can highly recommend Broome & Beyond and the dual-cab Toyota Hilux! :)

We've hired (from April - July 2026) a Hilux Trayon Extra Cab 4×4 Camper in Perth with drop off in Cairns. An one way fee applied, as Broom & Beyond does not operate out of Cairns. During the whole duration of our 11-week trip, we had not one single issue with the car or gear. Everthing was 100% functional and reliable. The contact with Brendan and Tracy was at any point transparent, strate forward and very customer orientated. They truly want you to have a good time and are doing everything to make it possible. We had a fantastic time and would hire there anytime again! It was a pleasure for us.

We had a brilliant adventure in WA made all the better thanks to Broome & Beyond's Hilux camper. Broome & Beyond's communication is the perfect example of how you communicate with your customers. From answering pre-booking questions, to updates leading up to the booking date, to answering questions during our trip, Brendan was always prompt with replies. The time Brendan spent with us delivering the camper, making sure we were comfortable and familiar with all aspects of the car's controls/systems and the camper set up and pack away set us up for success in our adventure. The equipment supplied with the vehicle is extensive and well sorted. We hope to be able to travel back to WA in the future, and Broome & Beyond will be our go-to company for future adventures.

Hard to find need more signage

This has been definitely the trip in a lifetime and Tracey and Brendan have been instrumental in making sure everything worked out perfect. Not only whre the two cars we used always in perfect condition and the handover was smooth and professional but when we run into unforeseen mechanical problems they provided inmediately full support to make sure we could still get a maximum benefit of our trip and continue the trip once a replacement camper arrived. They were available almost 24h when required and Tracey even showed up in Broom when we handed the camper back after successfully completing our 3 week voyage. I can not imaging a better provider. When you embark on such a long 4x4 voyage through the outback you need to be sure everything will always work out fine and Broome & Beyond and WA Experts are the best partners you can expect.

Passte alles! Eine ausführliche Einweisung in den Trayon inclusive Auf und Abbau, der Hilux in super gepflegtem Zustand. Viele pragmatisch wichtige Details (unter anderem 2 Kopflampen incl. Ersatzbatterien, erste Hilfe Kit, Walkie Talkie mit Fernfahrerkanal zur Abstimmung mit Road Trains, Leine mit Klammern, Ventilator, ... ). Brendan war immer erreichbar per WhatsApp. Wir sind 8500 km ohne irgendein technisches Problem in WA unterwegs gewesen. Für uns wäre Broome&Beyond immer die erste Wahl!

We hired the Hawk Camper from Broome and Beyond for 6weeks starting at Darwin and driving 10,000Km + down to Esprance and back up to Perth, where we finished. First off, everyone on the team are very friendly and very helpful, and very quick to reply to any emails. My partner went down with food poisoning the day we were meant to pick the Hilux up, so the team moved our booking a day later and extended the drop off by a day, which gave her enough time to recover. The Hilux itself is a well thought out setup, a huge water tank and fridge with solar panel which can keep you self sufficient for days. Cool box to keep your food in, and every utensil needed to make food. Also recovery equipment like a shovel and a tyre pump allows you to go off road, as we did at Bungle bungles and the Ningaloo. Seating, tables and a huge awning to keep the sun off. The Hilux was extremely comfortable to drive, sometimes we'd do 6hrs on and off road. We had to most insane trip and we will never forget it, this wouldn't have been possible without Broom and Beyond. Highly recommend. 👌

We had an amazing trip in a hilux 4wd camper- hired through Broome and Beyond (WA Experts). Would definitely recommend and use again ⭐️ Communications were excellent, prior to, and after booking. A very thorough explanation of the set up and features at the time of pick up, and detailed instructions included if we needed anything else while on our travels The camper was so easy to set up, and included everything we needed for our 11 day road trip up the WA coast I loved that previous campers gifted items that they had leftover for us to to choose from and make use of, which we returned, along with items we also had left over - camping mat, hat, condiments, tins etc We had a blast!!!

Travel with the car rented from these guys was a really nice experience for our family in west Australia, the car was perfectly equipped for way more that we were able to do; we were travelling with two kids and they just fully enjoyed! Looking forward for another trip supported by these guys in the future!

Broome @ Beyond lives 4WD from advice to return. Introduction and support were excellent. The Hilux Trayon Camper was the perfect choice for our trip from Darwin – Gibb – Mitchell Falls – Ashburton Downs- Mt. Augustus. It was very reliable and equipped with everything you need in the outback. We also appreciated that we were completely self-sufficient (electricity, water, gas and toilet). In the cool spring north of Perth it was quite cold in the tent at night and we were glad to have a sleeping bag with us. We enjoyed every kilometre. Thank you very much Tracy, Brendan and the whole team. We will definitely come back.

Very kind and supportive during car evaluation phase. Got quick answers to my questions. Well done. The Toyota Hilux was an excellent car and the Trayon - Roof top flip over (bed for the night) easy to handle. Pot and frypan not in good condition. Should have replaced before departure. We went in October/November with strong winds. Was not possible to use the gas stove outside. Flame was repeatedly blown out. Fairly old camping chairs were provided. One has broken during the journey and replaced instantly. Time at return to be reserved to clean the car, do high pressure water cleaning and refilling of fuel. Refilling was not completely possible as pump stopped several time. All in all it was a nice experience and we definitively can recommend them. Thank you Bredan and Tracey.

We rented the 4x4 Toyota Hilux with a rooftop tent in March, and it was absolutely perfect for our family of two adults and two children. There’s a comfortable double bed for the parents, and each child has their own bed as well. The storage space was much larger than expected! With the built-in fridge and clever storage setup, we were able to travel completely self-sufficient for about 10 days without needing a powered campsite. The fridge runs on solar panels, and we could easily charge all our electronic devices. The equipment is very well thought out and perfectly organized. A real highlight is the included air compressor for inflating the tires — something most other rental companies don’t provide! Having your own compressor means you can explore off-road areas independently, without relying on compressor stations in the parks. The staff were extremely friendly, and we could even leave our suitcases at the rental station during our trip. Highly recommended!

We hired a Toyota Highlux with a Trayon-Camper and got a perfect solution for an epic 6month-trip through Australia. We did 4WD-tracks like the Gibb, Oodnadatta, Francois Peron, Purnululu and many more and felt always comfortable, since the pickup was very reliable and extremely well equipped. Being photographers it was crucial for us to load our camera- and drone batteries every day and with the solar panel-generated electricity it worked fine. When we had questions, Brendan gave us an answer within short time, so we felt very well supported by Broome & Beyond.

I was really impressed with Broome and Beyond and the camper we hired. It was well set up, in great condition and had everything we needed. I usually drive my own vehicle and camp around the country but I’ll definitely use these guys again for short trips in the Kimberley and top end.

After Brendan’s thorough briefing in Perth, we set off on a 6-week adventure from Perth to Darwin – covering 8,400 km without a single problem. The Toyota was outstanding, the Trayon setup was fantastic – plenty of storage space, light enough to take us everywhere, and just perfect for off-road exploring. We went off-road as much as possible and had an unforgettable journey! The service along the way was just as impressive. In Broome, we were warmly welcomed with fresh bed linen and a refilled gas tank, and at our final stop in Darwin – where we sadly had to say goodbye to our trusty companion – we were again received with great hospitality. We have rented a car from Broome and Beyond three times. Travelling through WA and into the goldfields is so easy and convenient with this car and the Trayon is a perfect little house for two. The car has all the necessary equipement and the back up service from Brendan and his staff is marvelous. For the next trip to WA we will fore sure rent from this company again.

What a fantastic company! We drove from Broome to Darwin on the Gibb River Road in a Toyota HiLux Trayon camper. We certainly needed a four wheel drive and this car was almost new had everything we needed and was everything Broome and Beyond had stated we’d need. The company was incredibly responsive when we sent a message for help on an issue. Tracey and Brendon were exceptionally helpful responsive and true on every issue. I’d highly recommend this company and would definitely hire from them again.

Brendan and Tracey at Broome and Beyond were outstanding. From the original enquiry on pricing and timing, through to the lead up, they were so attentive and helpful. And then the service provided during the trip was amazing. We only had a couple of minor issues, and they were always available immediately, and proactively did whatever they could to resolve them. The actual campers themselves were exceptional and performed brilliantly. We had the Trayon style and it was absolutely brilliant for 2 people allowing quick and east setup for the many moves we made. Hi highly recommend Broome and Beyond.

We are visiting Australia for six months from the USA and wanted to see areas off the main roads. I researched multiply 4WD truck providers and settled on Broome & Beyond because of the Trayvon campers on their Toyota Hilux four wheel drive trucks. The trucks are very well outfitted with extended range fuel tanks for about 1000 KMs, 100 liter fresh water and all the gear to air down and air up when you get off the pavement. We travelled over 8200 KMs from Perth to Darwin and never had a single issue with the truck or the camper. Brendan even scheduled a check in in Broome so we could top off our gas bottle and get fresh linens. We truly enjoyed our journey and feel we made a great decision going with Brrome & Beyond Camper Hires. I would highly recommend them and use them again. Cheers!

Absolutely recommend if you are wanting to hire a 4 WD camper from Broome. As we were flying in from overseas we had some queries and Brendan and Tracey were so helpful. The flip top Trayon camper was easy to use and well equipped. There was a 24 hour number to call if help was needed, providing there as cell reception. UHF radio and SOS button provided. There is plenty of room behind the front seats for storage of things you might need for the day but fridge easily accessible without fully unfolding the camper. We will certainly use again. Thanks for making the trip of a lifetime to the remote Kimberley possible with so little hassle !

We had an amazing time doing Darwin to Broome and back - explored the Gibb River Road, great northern highway, even did the Bungle Bungle Range and Victoria Highway. They offer the best pricing in Darwin and options for 4WD camper hire. We were novice 4wd driver and we wanted something convenient, fun and still comfortable. We took the dual cab with Trayon for 2 adults and a 5yo trip. It came with everything we need from linens, towels to everyday utensils and more 4wd equipments to switch the tire pressures for different road conditions. We only had to pack our clothes and get groceries to stock up. It’s got large capacity for fuel to go for 800km and 1 week worth of water and the solar panels kept us going. We were almost self contained (missing toilet) - just need to either stay on caravan parks or freedom camps with toilet facilities. John, Tracey and Brendan were responsive on email, phone and text messages. The whole process from booking, collection to vehicle return was so easy that made our adventure holiday so enjoyable without additional stress. We even got to swap out towels and lighter at Broome. Highly recommend these guys. And will definitely return for more adventure with them. Thanks for giving us great memories to take home.

Very happy with the well equipped vehicle and associated camping gear they have provided. All worked according to plan on our Gibb River Rd adventure (Broom to Darwin). Great pre-hire briefing as we picked up the vehicle. The daunting task of setting up the Trayon camper was much easier then expected. Staff was friendly and we had good communication before and after our trip. Insurance excess refund was promptly processed after we returned the vehicle. Very happy to use them again for our next adventure.

If you are wondering where to get a camper/4WD from, look no further. We were let down by another hire company on the day of pick up (we had flown in that morning, in high season, 6 nights camping planned needing a 4WD, a pregnant wife and a 2 year old…). Not a position we were hoping to find ourselves in but Broome & Beyond sorted us out with a suitable vehicle that day. Dom at the Broome branch couldn’t be a nicer guy and couldn’t have helped more. The team working with him were great. Super friendly and worked hard to help us out. The car was well kitted out - all the essentials for camping and 4WD and they went above & beyond to get us sorted. We had a great trip, kit and car performed well. Can’t thank them enough.

Just back from a wonderful Darwin to Broome trip along the Gibb River Road. We were 4 adults travelling in 2 Trayon Hilux campers booked through Broome and Beyond. Could not fault the pre-trip service from Tracey and Brendan (we had so many questions) or the super efficient and informative handover service from Robena, when we picked up the vehicle in Darwin. The vehicles are robust and in excellent condition. The staff and owners are professional, knowledgable and available. The campers were beyond our expecations in terms of comfort and features. My only complaint was that I needed more time off work- 3 weeks is not long enough in the beautiful Kimberley. We will most definitely be back and would recommend Broome and Beyond in an instant.
